Quick Verdict

Wine Dive + Kitchen is an easy yes if you want a solid date night spot in Manhattan. The food was balanced, the portions were right, and nothing missed. It’s a relaxed dinner experience, not rushed, with a casual vibe that can get a little loud, especially during busy times.

Best for: Date night
Skip if: You want fast in-and-out service
What I’d order again: Beef Bruschetta

What We Ordered

Starter

Beef Bruschetta
Beef tenderloin brushed with pesto, served carpaccio-style on a toasted baguette with pesto cream cheese and horseradish aioli.

Best bite of the night.
This was the standout. It felt unique without being weird, and everything was balanced—rich beef, herby pesto, creamy spread, and just enough bite from the horseradish to keep it interesting.

Entrees

Salmon
Canadian salmon grilled and served with pesto, wild rice quinoa risotto, and grilled asparagus.

A clean, straightforward plate that fits the menu well. This is the kind of entrée you order when you want something that feels healthy-ish, filling, and satisfying without being heavy.

Lobster, Shrimp & Crab Mac and Cheese
Seafood sautéed with a white wine cream sauce, tossed with cavatappi pasta and a house blend of cheeses. Served with sliced Radina’s baguette.

This is a comfort-food entrée with some upgrade built into it. Rich, creamy, and clearly meant to feel like the “treat meal” on the table.

Drinks

  • Blicks Lane Sauvignon Blanc

  • Mexican Coke

Dessert

Crème Brûlée

The right way to finish a date night meal. Simple, classic, and it fits the vibe of the place.

Service + Atmosphere

Service: Normal and relaxed (in a good way)
This felt like a sit-down dinner experience where you’re meant to take your time.

Atmosphere: Casual, a little loud
Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you’re going for a quiet “talk all night” dinner.

Portions + Value

Portions: Perfect
Nobody left hungry, and nothing felt excessive.

Value: For a $150 date night (with tip), this felt like money well spent.

Final Call

Would I return? Yes.
Wine Dive + Kitchen delivered a strong date night dinner with no misses, and the Beef Bruschetta alone is worth ordering again.
